MA SB 1855 – This Bill amends the law governing indemnification provisions in construction contracts by not allowing indemnitors or additional insureds to be liable for amounts greater than the proportional extent of their own negligence.

ME–Bond Threshold Increased (LD 2092–Public Law Ch. 500)–ENACTED LAW Governor Baldacci signed LD 2092, An Act To Amend the Public Works Contractors’ Surety Bond Law of 1971, into law (Public Law, Chapter 500). This measure increases the threshold for requiring a surety bond on a public works project from $100,000 to $125,000
